The Darent Wax Company is a trade only supplier of speciality waxes. Founded in 1984 as Ceroform Ltd, by industrial wax chemists, Tony Ward and Brian Scudder, the company changed its name in 1990 to The Darent Wax Company Limited, when it moved to premises on the banks of the River Darent near Dartford in Kent.
In 1996, after rapid expansion, a new factory was built and equipped adjacent to its original site where it develops and manufactures a wide range of products for many industries and markets globally.
Now, in the 21st Century, there are two full time chemists dedicated to developing new products and processes for speciality waxes. Our factory is probably the most modern of its kind in the UK, with purpose made equipment and a dedicated workforce.
In 2003 The Darent Wax Company PTY Ltd was opened in Australia to serve customers throughout the Australasian region. The facility, located in Sydney, includes an office and manufacturing capabilities.
In March 2005 Wilkins Campbell became a trading division of The Darent Wax Company following the merger of Darent Wax and Wilkins Campbell & Co Limited. The addition of Wilkins Campbell's 130 years of experience in wax blending has resulted in an even wider range of products and expertise for the customers of both Darent Wax and Wilkins Campbell.
